What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags. We use these technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and — with your consent — understand how the site is used.

Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function. These are set whether or not you accept the consent banner; you can block them in your browser but parts of the site (sign-in, cart, donations) will stop working.

• Supabase auth — signed-in session for the donor portal, farmer directory, and admin areas. Set by our authentication provider. Persistent.
• Cart state — remembers items in your shop cart between visits. localStorage. Persistent.
• Cookie-consent choice — s2s.cookie-consent.v1 in localStorage, remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics. Persistent until you clear it.
• Stripe checkout — set by Stripe on donation and shop checkout pages for fraud prevention and payment processing. See Stripe's privacy notice.

Analytics (consent required)

Only set after you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymization and Google Consent Mode v2 defaulting to denied. GA4 helps us understand which pages farmers and donors find useful.

• _ga — distinguishes users. Persistent (up to 2 years).
• _ga_* — session state for the specific GA4 property. Persistent (up to 2 years).

Data is processed by Google under its privacy policy. We do not enable Google Ads features, remarketing, or advertising personalization.

Third-party embeds

Pages that embed third-party content (for example, a payment checkout or an external video) may set their own cookies when you interact with them. Those cookies are governed by the third party's policy.

Your choices

• Use the cookie banner shown on your first visit to accept or reject analytics.
• Change your mind at any time by clicking the button below to re-open the banner.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break sign-in, cart, and checkout.
• Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for a device-wide opt-out.
• Enable "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" in your browser — we treat GPC as an analytics opt-out signal on top of the banner.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top.
